FOOD AGAIN AND I AINT FULL

I'm soooo bored right now, despite having a presentation to do tomorrow, I'm still doing nothing... dont feel the tension in here...wahahaha.... anyways, went for dinner with seb's parents last weekend, and his ma recommended this really cosy restaurant in 1u, hmmm... if im not mistaken i think its called Dave's Pasta Pizza Vino, some branch of Dave's Deli... somehow, this western restaurant is way different from the regular Dave's Deli, seeing that this western restaurant serves italian food...

Ok, first, going for dinner with his parents wasn't my idea, but then come to think of it, hahaha... there's an advantage to it cos we wouldn't need to worry bout the bill.... :P

And talk bout me being talkative and shameless, this time I was fully controlled by my alter ego... when I flipped open the menu... i was like flabbergasted... seriously, i mean, the food is quite pricey to the extent that i didnt even dare to choose anything from tthe menu... haha...

I mean, if i were to be with seb alone without his parents, of course i will choose anything i like from the menu as i'm just too famous for my gluttony
Anyways, I was amused to see the waitress's persistence in recommending new dishes that was yet in the menu, and frankly speaking, i was pretty fickle bout what i wanted.

For appetizer, Seb's mom chose the seafood soup whereas Seb ordered a plate of bruschetta, and erm, didnt quite like it cos i felt as though i was eating hard bread crust topped with pieces of tomatoes...

After seeing how enjoyable Seb's ma was with her bowl of soup, he was soooo tempted to order that seafood soup as well, and so he did...! and prior to that, he thought he was gonna have a feast cos he ordered pork knuckle as the main course, thinking that he would be having sooo much of food till he gets sick of it... ROFL

WEll, and he did not finish the bowl of soup all by himself, I helped him to.. :P and it actually tasted good, with chunks of calamari, clams, baby scallops, fish meat and any seafood tat you can think of... haha... one more thing, if you're not a fan of butter, you wouldn;t want to go for this dish, cos it smells exactly like melted butter...

Oh yea, forgot bout my order... where was I? hmm...well, like i said, i was quite skeptical bout the dishes, and with that waitress's recommendation, i found myself lost in the midst of a conversation between his ma and the waitress... lol... his ma suddenly ordered some pasta for me which was a new dish, and i thought it wouldnt be too pricey seeing that its just pasta... haha... but i was totally wrong bout it. wat i missed out was the part when the waitress mentioned 'LOBSTER' pasta, i guess i havent been digging my ears lately..haha

His parents asked me if i wanted the salmon or the pasta, and i thought it was easy. you see, salmon was way pricey than pasta right? i mean, pasta is jst made up of erm... wheat or shit..i dont know... so there goes my order, 'pasta please!' i answered with much enthusiasm...

dots.....dots.....dots.....

his dad ordered some lamb shank or something, didnt quite get that part and it wasn't fully cooked, so the waitress had to take the dish back to the kitchen and do something with it. But after that, it tasted really good, according to sebby...

His mom... hmmm... was pretty funny that his mom actually ordered a plate of sausages cut into pieces, and dont ask me, i dont know what that dish is. and next came mine, which i was quite shock to see 2mini lobsters cut into halves, arranged in a manner that i couldnt even see my pasta! i thought to myself, hey, i dont remember ordering this dish... maybe they've mixed up with the orders. hah!

and i was totally wrong bout it... zzzz...
I definitely made a fool outta myself .... sigh... butt hey, the pasta tasted really good, the portion was just right for my size...

sebby was unsatisfied with his pork knuckles cos he actually thought it tasted like bak kut teh.. haha... and i just couldnt stop laughing at him... and to add to that, his portion wasnt what he expected! hahaha.... so sadly, he finished his 'bak kut teh' and then we bid farewell to his parents and went for the movie Definitely, Maybe

The next time when you decide to go there for a try, don't forget to look out for the chef Darren, who so happen is Dave;s son.. hahaha.... no, its not a joke, i'm serious... LOL.. this is highly recommended by our professional food taster, ETHEL
