Rakuzen

McD's ain't gonna fill up our stomach if it isnt 2cheeseburgers 2chicken drumsticks one stupid Big Mac 2french fries 2carbonated drinks two ridiculous free jasmine tea and a total bill of 36.50bucks (isn't it cheap or what?)

which i wouldnt recommend you to accept that from that delivery boy. the tea tastes like mineral water mixed with poison or something.... yucks... second time mcDs for dinner for the weekend... hmmmm.... isn't it convenient to stay near to plaza mont kiara? lol...

Well,

Rakuzen was one of the main objectives for me to go to KL. Seeing that I have sucha sebby who needs coaching when it comes to studies, i made myself available for the weekend just to make him study.

Unfortunately, my efforts proved FUTILE...

T_T

Incase i have forgotten to inform you, i had a sudden craving for rakuzen last week, which I think it was due to my gluttony.
and so, there goes my weekend :

KL

IRONMAN

RAKUZEN

SEBASTIAN

however, the next time if anyone asks me to coach someone to study, do count me out, i'm justa no-no when it comes to this, cos its just a waste of time being a babysitter... ZZzzzzZZZ Ok ok, i shall not stray away from my main item for the blog...

RAKUZEN!!!

I tell you, this place is irresistibly nice, and the food... hmmm... four or five stars for that, well, i'm not sure whether its just me being pretty lenient or what...

Situated in Plaza Damas of Sri Hartamas, its actually kinda easy for me to get to there in around 5mins drive from mont kiara...

Why do i love Rakuzen that much?

You should know the answer for that. One certainty for that- their food is just plain delicious. people who love jap food shouldn't miss out on this, seriously...

Sad to say, I'm not a descriptive person, so all i have to say bout the decors and all is that...

HAIYA... I have got no idea what to say bout that, wait till you go there and see it for yourself, ok? simply, nice... thats what i've gotta say bout that...zzzzz..

but the seatings that we got were a lil' too cramp for a big cow like sebby and a tiny dwarf like me... of course there are some other dining tables where you would rather prefer if you're bringing a large crowd of people... So no worries, my friends bout the place... i'm sure you will be able to enjoy the ambiance and the serenity of the surroundings... haha

This time, for a change, i'll cut down on my yapping and paste on more pics so that noone will complain what a big mouth i am... the only reason i'm putting up these pics cos i'm a very generous person who loves sharing and yapping, so, all thanks to my generosity... haha
This restaurant is actually sebastian's family favorite dinner place, so thanks to seb's recommendation, I had an idea what i was going for when the waitress handed over the menu.

Yea, like in the pic, we ordered one unagi set whereby seb replaced the white rice with garlic fried rice, and an addition of garlic fried rice. And heck, this is the third time i'll be mentioning bout garlic fried rice cos its sebby's favorite. Just a small bowl of fried rice costs around RM9, whereas we were also charged an extra of RM3 just for the replacement of white rice with the garlic one, Hmmm... i'll let you judge on the price yourself Oh yea, another dish that i would want you to put it on your list, are scallops!!! fresh ones, not dried and cheap ones!!! hahahahaha...

sorry, the scallop on the right is a lil' ruined, thanks to sebastian's itchy hands... zzz... its served with spices and mayonaisse, which i think its a perfect combination... not spicy at all though.. very nicely decorated, the shells are placed on a mountain of salt, which i had no idea why would people want to waste salt just for the sake of that, or perhaps, who knows you can actually eat it with the salt... but as for us, we just like it like that without salt or lemon... Can't remember the price... if i'm not mistaken, it costs above RM20, very small portion though... :(

The dragon maki looks very nice right? haha... seb's fav, very filling too... fish roe and avocado for the toppings... very nice one... however, i think its a lil' overpriced seeing that it costs RM28 just for 4rolls... how unreasonable...

Sashimi salad, last dish for the day... very nice chunks of raw fish and scallops and bla bla bla served with their specialty salad sauce, superb, but erm, haha...after finishing the top part, we could finish no more. the veges were at the bottom part so we didnt mind wasting our food... haha

All in all, Rakuzen is still my favorite jap restaurant cos of its very comfortable environment, and its food... hehe, when's my fourth visit there huh, cow?

NOTE: all pics were captured by me, so yea, people out there, please don't ever plagiarize... but if you intend to use my pics, at least give me some credits larrrr...hahaha... :P
